Adnan Mufti is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). He is one of the Partners, and heads the Indirect Tax Services in Moore Shekha Mufti and holds over 18 years practice experience in VAT / GST Laws.
He is a member of ICAP Taxation Committee. He has also served as Chairman & Member Southern Regional Committee of ICAP, Chairman & Member of Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee (ADRC) constituted under Sales Tax Laws by Government of Pakistan, member of Sub-Committee of Tax Reforms Commission constituted by Government of Pakistan, Honorary Advisor on GST to Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Member; Indirect Tax Committee of Karachi Tax Bar Association and Joint Committee of ICAP & Federal Board of Revenue on Tax Audits.
Adnan also assisted Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) and Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) in development of Sindh & Punjab Sales Tax Laws. Besides, he has presented numerous technical / research papers in workshops / seminars both nationally and internationally. Besides, he also regularly contributes articles on VAT laws in financial press and professional journals in Pakistan.
Adnan has also conducted extensive training sessions on GCC VAT Laws across the Middle East including UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia. He is also Convener of Middle East Africa (MEA) VAT Group of Moore Global International.
