Zafar Ahmad is among the founders of Moore Shekha Mufti. He is a fellow member of Institute of Taxation Management of Pakistan and a fellow of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants.
He holds a rich experience in Income Tax Practice spanning over 24 years encompassing Income Tax Advisory, Compliances and Litigation, both for Companies & Family Houses.
His core area of expertise for corporate client covers matters including but not limited to Tax Compliance Management, Transfer Pricing Compliances, Tax planning, Business restructuring, Tax Review of Contracts (domestic as well as cross-border) and in the end, representations before appellate forums. For individual clients and family houses, his core area covers comprehensive Tax Planning and advisory in business and family Wealth Management. He also has a rich experience of nine (09) years of conducting Taxation Workshops. He has so far conducted as many as forty-three Open house and In house Tax Workshops on varied topics of interest in Income Tax Law in Pakistan He has delivered papers on Income Tax Law & Procedures in seminars/workshops organized by Karachi Tax Bar Association, Karachi. He has served as the General Secretary of Karachi Tax Bar Association for two consecutive Years in the year 2019 and 2020. Currently, Zafar has been elected as a Vice President of Pakistan Tax Bar Association.
